The 'Executive Edge' Programme.

When I started my executive job search Simon Gray at Career Codex was recommended to me by an executive recruiter, Matthias Hocke from Heidrick and Struggles. Being a former recruiter himself, I felt Simon was the ideal person to help with my job search. I read his book 'Super Secrets of Successful Executive Job Search' which gave me great insight on how to search for a new executive position successfully. After that I decided to enrol in the ‘Executive Edge’ Programme, something I would encourage anybody looking for a new executive position to do. The programme showed me how the executive job market really works, how to build a personal brand on LinkedIn and provided endless encouragement when things didn't always go my way. It also taught me many tips and tricks that enabled me to fine-tune my next steps.

The teachings and training put together by Simon are really amazing. I'm impressed and satisfied with the level of detail he goes into and the topics covered. The training is well worth the cost and I highly recommend it to anyone who is looking to find work at a more senior level. I don't think any other programs compare to this one, it truly is unique. I'm so glad I found 'Executive Edge' because without it I'd be going at the job market like most everyone else and that's a huge disadvantage. This program helps to better understand what to do, how to conduct your search, and most importantly build confidence so you can win big!

'Executive Edge' is by far the best programme I have undertaken and has equipped me with a framework, tools, techniques and above all the confidence to deliver on my personal objectives. It's a holistic system that will have a lasting impact not only in my transition from the APAC region back to the UK, but also in day-to-day work that requires absolute focus. Simon puts in additional effort to support through coaching calls, which I found extremely useful. I am now in the process of agreeing my next role. My only annoyance is that I spent £600 on revising my CV with A. N. Other organisation, which was a complete waste of money as this programme also covered that too. Highly recommended for landing your next executive role!

Starting to 'job hunt' for the first time in 14 years and really for the first time at an executive level was daunting. I have followed the methodology outlined in the 'Executive Edge' Programme and found it incredibly helpful in managing the search for my next career. Whilst I had heard of the 'hidden market' I didn't have too much understanding of how to find it let alone succeed in it. With the support of the programme and the coaching calls with Simon I am now fully active and achieving success in the hidden market. Harnessing every action and reaction as a positive step towards my next role, and moreover actually enjoying the process (most of the time) thanks to the learning taken from the programme. Even when I start my new role I know I will remain active in the hidden market, using my newly learned skills to ensure that next time around the change will be a warm start. This programme and Simon gets you thinking in ways you cannot envision – it's not merely about finding a new career, but a different way of considering the path you should take while looking for a job – not merely the mechanics. I got 50% of the way through the course when my productivity climbed several hundred percent (it seemed) and I started focusing on additional things I wanted to get done for a long time. I still have lots to go through and review. I heartily recommend.

I had the pleasure of working with Simon over the course of three months on his 'Executive Edge' Programme. I had been floundering around looking for a new role without any real plan. Having been looking for a few months I was nowhere near getting a new role (especially one that I wanted) and becoming very dispirited. Simon has really good content explaining the psychology and inner workings of the executive job market – the methodology certainly creates a lot more engagement and results. I really enjoyed going through the content and putting his process into practice. He also profiles a number of really nifty tools that can ease the effort needed for your social media engagement strategy.
